School Psychology Scholarship Program

Ready to start your master’s in psychology in 2025? You may be eligible to apply for the NSW Department of Education’s School Psychologist Scholarship Program – applications are open now!

You could receive over $35,000 in financial support toward your Master of Professional Psychology (school psychology) with Charles Sturt. Plus, get a guaranteed job in a New South Wales public school when you graduate. You’ll work with a supportive, multi-disciplinary team and have access to ongoing training for your professional development.

What you'll get

  • Up to $35,000 tuition allowance for full-time, full fee-paying students.
  • Appointment allowance of up to $6,000 for rural scholarships and $2,000 for metropolitan scholarships.
  • $1,500 textbook and incidentals allowance.
  • Supervised work placements.
  • A supervised internship as a provisional psychologist.
  • Ongoing employment in a New South Wales public school when you graduate.

How to apply

  1. Check your eligibility for sponsorship via the NSW Department of Education School Psychology Scholarship website.
  2. Submit your scholarship application to the NSW Department of Education by 11:59pm on Friday 6 September 2024.
  3. Submit your application to Charles Sturt University for the Master of Professional Psychology (with Specialisations) by 11.59pm Monday 30 September 2024.
  4. Acceptance into the Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology) at Charles Sturt University will be based on course eligibility criteria.
