School Psychology Scholarship Program
Ready to start your master’s in psychology in 2025? You may be eligible to apply for the NSW Department of Education’s School Psychologist Scholarship Program – applications are open now!
You could receive over $35,000 in financial support toward your Master of Professional Psychology (school psychology) with Charles Sturt. Plus, get a guaranteed job in a New South Wales public school when you graduate. You’ll work with a supportive, multi-disciplinary team and have access to ongoing training for your professional development.

What you'll get
- Up to $35,000 tuition allowance for full-time, full fee-paying students.
- Appointment allowance of up to $6,000 for rural scholarships and $2,000 for metropolitan scholarships.
- $1,500 textbook and incidentals allowance.
- Supervised work placements.
- A supervised internship as a provisional psychologist.
- Ongoing employment in a New South Wales public school when you graduate.
How to apply
- Check your eligibility for sponsorship via the NSW Department of Education School Psychology Scholarship website.
- Submit your scholarship application to the NSW Department of Education by 11:59pm on Friday 6 September 2024.
- Submit your application to Charles Sturt University for the Master of Professional Psychology (with Specialisations) by 11.59pm Monday 30 September 2024.
- Acceptance into the Master of Professional Psychology (School Psychology) at Charles Sturt University will be based on course eligibility criteria.
