It's the location of federal government departments and agencies, and the site of many national social and cultural institutions and buildings.

The city hosts a number of cultural and arts festivals throughout the year including Floriade, Australia's biggest celebration of spring.

What can I study in Canberra?

Theology courses delivered through Charles Sturt in Canberra have an established reputation for their emphasis on student learning, quality teaching and research.

These are combined with a flexible learning environment including face-to-face teaching, online education, intensive classes, web forums, study skills tutoring and a host of other features all designed to increase your participation in the adventure we call theology.

You can also study selected courses through Charles Sturt's Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security at our Brisbane Avenue location.

Getting around

We have two main sites in Canberra, each with a special focus.

  • Australian Graduate School of Policing
  • Customs and Excise Studies

As an online student, you can also access the facilities on campus for online study.
