Fatal crash - near Narrandera

A woman has died following a single vehicle crash in the State’s south.

About 1.30pm yesterday (Monday 23 September 2024), emergency services were called to Settlers Road, Sandigo, approximately 20km south-east of Narrandera, after the car left the roadway and hit a tree.

Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District responded along with NSW Ambulance, who commenced CPR, however, the 83-year-old female driver, died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
