Search underway to locate man missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Neal Quinn, aged 44, was last seen in Mona Vale about 7.30pm on Thursday 17 October 2024 and is believed to have travelled to the Newport area.

When he failed to return home and could not be contacted, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his disappearance being out of character.

Neal is described as Caucasian in appearance, 185cm tall, average build, with brown hair, beard, moustache and a fair complexion.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and carrying a green backpack.
