Appeal for information to identify woman following alleged fraud offences - Strike Force Recycling

Police area appealing for information to identify a woman they believe may be able to assist as part of an investigation into alleged fraud offences in Sydney.

Strike Force Recycling was established in July 2024 to investigate alleged frauds committed by a number of people.

Officers have been told the alleged offenders took money from a number of people after claiming to be psychics.

It’s believed the alleged offenders have been committing offences in the greater Sydney area since as early as 2006.

Following inquiries, a woman, aged 48, and a man, aged 50, were arrested on Thursday 8 August 2024.

Both remain before the courts.

Police have identified a third woman they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The woman is described as being of Medditeranean/Middle Eastern appearance, believed to be aged in her 40s, about 150cm tall, large build and speaks with a Romanian accent.
