Appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Doonside

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s west.
Hayley Hopwood, aged 17, was last seen in Doonside, about 10.30am yesterday (Monday 21 October 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Hayley’s welfare due to her age and her acting out of character.
Hayley is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, with a slim build and black hair.
She is known to frequent the Doonside, Whalan, Penrith, Bidwell and Blacktown areas.
