Appeal to locate man missing man - Shellharbour

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Illawarra.

Joel, aged 47, was last seen about 8.45am on Sunday 13 October 2024, in the Shellharbour region.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Joel is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160-170cm tall, of solid build, and with short blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a light grey Adidas hooded jumper, blue jeans, white sneakers with blue electrical tape wrapped around them and a hat. He is believed to be carrying a beige fabric shoulder bag.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Lake Illawarra Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
