Appeal to locate missing man - Kogarah

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south.
John Sproggan, aged 75, was last seen in Kogarah, about 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 29 October 2024).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.
John is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, large build, with short grey hair, and a grey beard and moustache.
He was last seen wearing long black pants, black enclosed shoes and a purple t-shirt.
He is known to frequent the Sydney CBD area.
