Woman charged with alleged fraud - Strike Force Recycling

Strike Force Recycling was established in July 2024 to investigate alleged frauds committed by a number of people.
Officers have been told the alleged offenders took money from a number of people after claiming to be psychics.
It’s believed the alleged offenders have been committing offences in the greater Sydney area since as early as 2006.
Following inquiries, a woman, aged 48, was arrested today at a residence in Punchbowl Road, Punchbowl.
She was taken to Campsie police station where she was charged with 13 offences. Identify theft (seven counts), money laundering (three counts), participate in organised crime group, fraud and hinder discovery of evidence.
She was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today, Wednesday 20 November 2024
