Appeal for information following a suspicious death in Maroubra - SF Nain

Police are appealing for public assistance after the body of a woman was found in Sydney’s east last week.

Just before 12pm on Monday 18 November 2024, emergency services attended an address on Astoria Circuit, Maroubra, and found the body of a 66-year-old woman inside.

Police attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command, with assistance of officers from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, established Strike Force Nain and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Following inquiries, police would like to speak with the driver of a small white car that may have been involved in a collision near Heffron Park, Maroubra, about 8pm on Sunday 17 November 2024.

As inquiries continue, police urge anyone with information or a dash cam footage about this incident to contact Eastern Beaches Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
