Appeal to locate boy missing from Armidale

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Armidale.
Thomas Sherriff, 12, was last seen on Jeffrey Street, Armidale, about 1.30am yesterday (Saturday 30 November 2024).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to New England Police District were notified this morning (Sunday 1 December 2024) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Thomas’ welfare due to his age.
Thomas is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, with light brown hair and a slim build.
He may be wearing blue pants or red shorts and a grey hooded jumper. He may be wearing white or coloured shoes.
