Former officer charged - Central Metropolitan Region

A former police officer has been charged over allegedly accessing and disclosing restricted data.

On Sunday 6 October 2024 officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the former constable.

It will be alleged that whilst she was a serving officer the woman accessed restricted data.

Police will further allege that she supplied a police intelligence report to a man known to her.

Today (Tuesday 3 December 2024) the woman was issued with a Future Court Attendance Notice for one count of public official unlawfully disclose information and six counts of access/modify restricted data held in computer.

The 30-year-old woman is due to appear at Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 15 January 2025.

The woman resigned from the NSWPF prior to the commencement of the investigation.
