Appeal for information after man seen performing sexual act on beach - Woolgoolga

Police are appealing for the public’s assistance for information following a sexual act in Woolgoolga.
Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District were told about 1pm yesterday (Wednesday 4 December 2024) two females – aged 17 and 18 - were at Woolgoolga beach when a man was seen performing a sexual act.
The man ran from the scene and drove away in a red Nissan X-trail with Queensland number plates.
He was last seen travelling south on Pacific Street towards Beach Street, Woolgoolga.
The man is described as being of Caucasian in appearance, about 50 years of age, with a large build and about 170cm tall.
He was last seen wearing a black hat, black board short and black sunglasses.
Police have commenced inquiries into the incident and, as part of inquiries, are appealing for assistance from the public.
