Man dies when motorcycle and ute collide north of Glen Innes

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in the state’s north west.
Shortly after 2:30pm today (Sunday 8 November 2024), emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a utility on the New England Highway at Bolivia, 80km north of Glen Innes.
A male motorcycle rider died at the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services. He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the utility was uninjured.
Traffic diversions are currently in place and motorists are asked to avoid the area; drivers are advised to monitor www.livetraffic.com for updates.
