Woman critical after being hit by car - Bankstown

Police are investigating after a woman was critically injured at Bankstown this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to South Terrace about 4.10pm today (Monday 9 December 2024), following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended and found a woman, aged 65, had been struck by a vehicle.
The woman was trapped under the vehicle for some time before she was freed.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver, a 26-year-old male, of the vehicle has been taken to Bankstown Hospital for mandatory tests.
Police have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
