Three women charged following alleged affray, assault - Blacktown

Three women have been charged following an alleged affray and assault in Sydney’s west overnight.
About 11.30pm (Wednesday 12 December 2024), officers from Blacktown Police Area Command were called to Patrick Street, Blacktown, following reports of a brawl.
Police were told two women – aged 23 and 27 – were arguing before it escalated and they allegedly started punching and kicking each other.
The pair were separated before a third woman – aged 23 – allegedly punched the older woman to the ground before continuing to assault her.
The fight allegedly continued until the arrival of police and the three were separated.
The 27-year-old woman suffered facial injuries and was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition.
The other two women were arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station where they were charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others, and affray.
They were refused bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court today (Thursday 12 December 2024).
The 27-year-old woman was charged with array and given a court attendance notice to attend Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 23 January 2025.
A 29-year-old man – who attempted to assist – suffered a cut to his ear. He was treated at the scene and taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
