Three charged following alleged break and enter, pursuit - Baulkham Hills

Two men and a woman have been charged following an alleged break and enter and pursuit through Sydney’s western suburbs last night.
About 9.30pm (Friday 13 December 2024) police were called to reports of a break and enter on Lord Sheffield Circuit, Penrith.
Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command and Police Transport Command attended and found three people allegedly breaking into a garage.
One person – a 51-year-old man – was arrested at the scene and was taken to Penrith Police Station.
The other two people – a 35-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman – left the scene in a truck.
Police attempted to stop the truck; however, when it failed to stop a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit travelled through several suburbs, including St Clair, where it momentarily stopped at Lexington Avenue, St Clair, where the 38-year-old woman was seen allegedly exiting the vehicle.
She was arrested and taken to Penrith Police Station.
The pursuit continued before the truck came to a stop on Windsor Road near Cook Street, Baulkham Hills.
The driver – a 35-year-old man – was taken to Westmead Hospital under police guard, after he was tasered during the arrest.
Following his release from hospital, he was taken to Penrith Police Station and charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal less than $60,000, found with intent to commit indictable offence previous conviction, police pursuit – not stop – drive dangerously, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period and possess housebreaking implements.
The 51-year -old man was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal less than $60,000, found with intent to commit indictable offence previous conviction, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner and possess prohibited drug.
The 38-year-old woman was charged with be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.
They were all refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 14 December 2024).
