Appeal to locate man missing from Villawood

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s west.
Rahim Barati, aged 29, was last seen in Villawood, about 7pm yesterday (Tuesday 24 December 2024).
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare as he lives with an intellectual disability and is non-verbal.
Rahim is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 170cm tall, medium build, with medium length grey/white hair and is unshaven.
He was last seen wearing a grey/green Armani shirt and blue jeans.
