Appeal to locate teenage boy missing from Bankstown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s west.
Matthew Sorras, aged 15, was last seen in Bankstown, about 7pm on Monday 23 December 2024.
When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.
Matthew is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 170cm tall, slim build, and black hair.
He was last seen wearing a white hoodie with black pants and grey Nike shoes.
Matthew is known to frequent Revesby and Cartwright areas.
