Man charged with multiple offences - Gladesville

A man has been charged with multiple offences following an incident in Sydney’s inner west.

About 8:15pm yesterday, Friday 27 December 2024, police were called to Ryde Road, Gladesville following reports of a man threatening another man with a knife.

On arrival, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command arrested a 54-year-old man.

He was taken to North Sydney police station where he was charged with:

• Armed with intent commit indictable offence
• Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
• Stalk or intimidate intending to cause fear of physical or mental harm

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday 20 January 2025
