Body located in search for teenager missing from Beecroft

A body has been located during a search for a teenager missing from Beecroft.

The 17-year-old boy was reported missing of officers from Ryde Police Area Command on Monday 16 December 2024 when he did not return to his address and could not be located or contacted.

Police commenced inquiries into his whereabouts and a search continued in the North Rocks and surrounding areas.

On Saturday (28 December 2024) a body, believed to be that of the missing teenager, was located during the search.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
