Three teenagers charged over break and enter - Sydney Olympic Park

Three teenagers will face court after they were charged with an alleged series of break and enters in the Sydney’s west.
On Tuesday 31 December 2024, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports of break ins at multiple locations in the Sydney Olympic Park area.
Police will allege in court that four male teenagers broke into five businesses from 11.30pm on Monday 30 December 2024, by damaging front doors and windows.
They allegedly stole cash, alcohol worth $800 and caused damage worth $6500 to the businesses.
Police will further allege the teens attempted to break into five more businesses the same night.
Police established multiple crime scenes and commenced an investigation into the incidents.
Following inquires, Auburn Police Area Command detectives – with assistance from officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command and North West Metropolitan Operations Support Group )OSG) – arrested two boys, aged 16 and 15, about 10.20am yesterday (Friday 3 January 2025), at Blacktown. A 14-year-old boy was arrested at 11am at Quakers Hill.
Police seized items including clothing, mobile phones, and cash registers, which police allege are linked to other break and enter offences in Woodcroft on Sunday 29 December 2024 and Blacktown on Thursday 2 January 2025.
The boys were taken to Blacktown Police Station where the 16-year-old boy was charged with,
• Aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal (two counts)
• Aggravated break and enter with intent in company not steal (two counts)
• Armed with intent to commit indictable offence
• Break and enter intend to commit serious indictable offence, and
• Break and enter house etc steal.
The other two boys were charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal (two counts), and aggravated break and enter dwelling in company intend steal.
The 15-year-old boy was further charged with aggravated break and enter with intent in company not steal and aggravated break and enter dwelling in company steal.
They were refused bail to appear at a children’s court today (Saturday 4 January 2025).
Investigations into the break-ins are ongoing.
