Man charged over peep and pry offences - Coogee

A man has been charged following an alleged peep and pry incident in Sydney’s east.

About 2pm on Friday 10 January 2025, a man was seen peering into a window of a unit complex in Mount Street, Coogee.

The occupant, a 29-year-old woman, told her flatmate, a 30-year-old man, about the incident.

About 11:45am on Sunday 12 January 2025, the flatmate saw the man again walking into the unit complex where he confronted him before calling police.

Following inquiries, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command arrested a 50-year-old man when he attended Maroubra Police Station yesterday (Monday 13 January 2025).

He was subsequently charged with peep and pry and was given conditional bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 22 January 2025.
