Fatal single-vehicle crash - Hoxton Park

A male has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s southwest.

About 8.30pm last night (Thursday 16 January 2025), emergency services were called to Hoxton Park Road at Hoxton Park, following reports of crash.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and found a black Subaru sedan had left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver of the car, a man believed to be aged 19, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, and conveyed to Hospital.

Police rendered aid to the front passenger, a male aged 16, however he died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

A passenger in the vehicle, a male aged 16, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A crime scene was established and investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.

Hoxton Park Road was closed in both directions and diversions put in place while emergency services remained at the scene.
