Drug and Firearms Squad detectives have charged two men following the discovery of $31 million worth of cannabis plants north of Goulburn under Strike Force Hyperion.

Strike Force Hyperion is an ongoing investigation by State Crime Command’s Drug & Firearms Squad targeting outdoor and greenhouse cannabis cultivation across NSW.

About 8.10am yesterday (Wednesday 22 January 2025), strike force detectives – with assistance from the Dog Squad – executed a search warrant at a property on Fullerton Road in Fullerton.

During the search, police located 10,461 cannabis plants.

Two men, aged 30 and 34, were arrested at the scene. The men were taken to Goulburn Police Station, where they were both charged with knowingly take part-cultivate >=large commercial quantity-cannabis.

The men were refused bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court today (Thursday 23 January 2025).

Investigations under Strike Force Hyperion continue.
