Man arrested after building damaged - Marrickville

A man has been arrested after a building was damaged in the Inner West today.

Just after 10am today (Wednesday 29 January 2025), officers attached to Inner West were patrolling Marrickville Road, Marrickville, when they saw a man allegedly spray painting the wall of a business nearby.

The 58-year-old man was arrested, and the spray can was seized.

He was taken to Newtown Police Station where inquiries continue.
