Motorcycle rider in dies in crash at Kingsgrove

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Sydney’s south today.

About 5.15pm on Wednesday 29 January 2025, emergency services were called to the intersection of Dowsett Street and Kingsgrove Road, Kingsgrove, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers from St George Police Area Command arrived to find a car and motorcycle, which had a pillion passenger, had collided.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the motorcyclist, however, he died at the scene.

The man is yet to be formed identified, but it believed to be aged in his 30s.

The female pillion passenger, believed to be aged in her 20s, was treated for minor lacerations before she was taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.

The female driver, aged in her 60s, was treated for shoulder and hip injuries before she was taken to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition. She will also undergo mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established and police have commenced an investigation into the cause of the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
