Appeal to locate teenage girl missing from Orange

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenage girl from the NSW Central Tablelands.

Charmaine Carpenter, aged 16, was last seen at a home in Orange on 17 January 2025.

Officers attached to Central West Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Charmaine is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Straight Islander appearance with fair complexion, about 150-160cm tall,40-50kg, with long purple hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a light blue jumper and grey tracksuit pants.

Charmaine isn’t believed to have taken any personal belongings other than a mobile phone with no sim card and a phone charger.

She has no access to money or travel cards.

Police believe Charmaine may be in the Orange area.
