Officer charged - North West Metropolitan Region

An off-duty police officer has been charged with multiple domestic violence offences.

In March 2024, officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command commenced an investigation into reports an off-duty officer had allegedly abused a woman known to him between October 2022 and October 2023.

Following inquiries, police charged a 28-year-old constable – attached to North West Metropolitan Region – with four counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm and three counts of common assault DV.

The officer was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 18 March 2025

The officer’s employment status is under review.
