Fatal crash - Tarago

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Tarago.

About 6.30pm today (Sunday 2 February 2025), emergency services were called to Bungendore Road, Tarago, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District attended and found a single vehicle had crashed into a tree.

The male driver, belived to be aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
