Man dies at Mid North Coast beach - Port Macquarie

A man has died at a beach on the Mid North Coast.

About 3.40pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 February 2025), emergency services were called to Bartletts Beach, Bonny Hills, following reports a man had been pulled from the water unconscious.

Officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District, NSW Ambulance and Surf Life Saving NSW responded.

CPR was performed on the man – aged 74 – however he couldn’t be revived.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
