Man charged over property and drug offences - Mid North Coast

A man has been charged following an investigation into a stolen motorcycle on the Mid North Coast.

On Tuesday 4 February 2025, a Husqvarna motorcycle was stolen from a home in Valla Beach, about 5km north of Nambucca Heads.

Following inquiries, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District attended a home in Macksville later that day.

Whilst at the property, officers allegedly sighted three cannabis plants growing at the rear of the property.

A search warrant was subsequently executed at the property the same day, with officers allegedly locating and seizing a motorbike, a helmet, ammunition, cannabis plants, and number plates believed to have been stolen.

A 44-year-old man was arrested and taken to Macksville Police Station where he was charged with three counts of goods suspected stolen in/on premises, and cultivate prohibited plant (less than or equal to small quantity).

He was granted conditional bail to appear before Macksville Local Court on Thursday 20 February 2025.
