Fatal crash - Greenacre

A man has died in a crash in Sydney’s west today.
About 6.30pm (Thursday 6 February 2025) emergency services were called to Boronia Road, Greenacre, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command attended and found a man had been struck by a ute while crossing the road.
The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but he died at the scene.
The man is yet to be formally identified but he is believed to be aged in his 70s.
The 19-yearold male driver of the ute was taken to Bankstown Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
