Appeal to locate boy missing from Carlingford

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s north west.

Tinghe Hu, aged 12, was last seen on Post Office Road, Carlingford, about 11.30am today (Sunday 9 February 2025).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Tinghe’s welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 110cm tall, of thin build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Tinghe was last seen wearing a white polo t-shirt and navy blue Adidas slides, with a white hat, which is depicted in the attached photos.

He may still be wearing white tennis wrist sweat bands.

Tinghe is known to frequent the Hurstville and Macquarie Park areas.
