Appeal to locate man missing from Carlton

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south.

Carl Austin, aged 47, was last seen on Mill Street, Carlton, about 1pm yesterday (Thursday 13 February 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he requires regular medical treatment.

Carl is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, with grey hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue and black flannelette shirt, black cargo pants, and black and white shoes.

Carl is known to frequent the Lakemba, Bankstown and Sydney CBD areas.
