Appeal to locate man missing from Canley Heights

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s south west.

Tu Cuong Ong, aged 48, was last seen in Canley Heights, about 3pm on Friday (14 February 2025).

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command commenced an investigation into his whereabouts.

There are concerns for his welfare as he lives with several medical conditions.

Tu is described as Asian appearance, medium build, 170cm, shoulder length black hair and clean shaven.

He was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, blue jeans, white shoes and carrying a shopping bag.

He is known to frequent the Canley Heights, Sydney CBD and Newcastle areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Fairfield City Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
