Teen charged over alleged bail and property offences - Mid North Coast

A teen has been charged following an investigation into three alleged break and enters on the Mid North Coast early this morning.

Between 1am and 4.30am today (Monday 17 February 2025), police were notified of three break and enters in South West Rocks and Willawarrin.

Following inquiries under Strike Force Contrition, officers executed a search warrant at a home near Kempsey about 1.10pm this afternoon (Monday 17 February 2025).

During the search, police allegedly located and seized cash, a homemade machete and other items allegedly linked to the offences.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested at the home and taken to Kempsey Police Station.

There he was charged with three counts of aggravated break and enter in company, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, and breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court tomorrow (Tuesday 18 February 2025).
