Further charges as investigations continue into Central Train Station brawl

Two additional males have been charged as investigations continue into a large brawl in Sydney’s CBD earlier this month.
About 10.50pm on Saturday 8 February 2025, officers from the Police Transport Command – supported by police from other commands – responded to reports of a fight involving 20 to 30 people in Central Railway Station near the Elizabeth Street entrance.
Police were informed the people assaulted each other and a number of flares were set off.
The group dispersed prior to police arrival and no injuries were reported.
Officers attached to Police Transport Command North Central commenced an investigation under Strike Force Moonul.
Five people have since been charged and remain before the courts.
About 12.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 18 February 2025) a 15-year-old boy was arrested at Campbelltown Police Station.
About 5.50pm the same day, an 18-year-old man was arrested at Auburn Police Station.
Both males were charged with affray and possess bright light distress signal in public place.
The 15-year-old boy was granted conditional bail to appear before a children’s court on Monday 10 March 2025, while the 18-year-old man was granted conditional bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday 25 March 2025.
As inquiries continue, investigators have released CCTV images of people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The second man (Person B) is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build with short hair. He is depicted wearing black Adidas-brand shoes with white stripes, blue jeans, and a black T-shirt with white text on the front. He has a tattoo on the right bicep area.
The fourth man (Person D) is described as being of Caucasian appearance and of large build. He is depicted wearing a black T-shirt, green shorts, white shoes, black hat with a The North Face-brand logo, and was carrying a bumbag with white writing on the front.
The sixth man (Person F) is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of average height and medium build. He is depicted wearing a navy blue puffer jacket, black pants, sunglasses on the back of his head and black Nike-brand shoes with white soles and shoe laces.
