Appeal to locate girl missing from Metford

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the state’s Hunter Region.

Amelia Spedding, aged 12, was last seen in the Metford area about 11.30pm on Friday (28 February 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Port Stephens Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Amelia is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 145cm tall, thin build and brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black crop top and black pants.

Amelia maybe in company with her 14-year-old brother Tyson.
