Appeal to locate teenager missing from Gunnedah

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the New South Wales north-central west.

Ava Strachan, aged 13, was last seen on Wentworth Street in Gunnedah about 8.30pm Monday 3 March, 2025.

When she could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Oxley Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare.

Ava is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a medium build with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a blue top.

She is known to frequent Gunnedah.
