A man wanted for domestic violence offences, including discharging a firearm, has been arrested after ramming a police car in Sydney’s west.

Officers attached to Fairfield City Police Area Command began inquiries into the 34-year-old’s whereabouts after he allegedly removed an electronic monitoring device on Thursday 27 February 2025.

Police attempts to locate the man intensified due to the immediate risk to the community and alleged DV victim.

About 12pm today, Tuesday 4 March 2025, the man was seen driving a hire vehicle in the vicinity of Mays Hill.

After refusing to stop at the direction of police, a pursuit was initiated with the man allegedly using his vehicle to “ram” a fully marked police vehicle.

He was arrested a short time later and taken to Parramatta Police station.
