Appeal for information after assault on train - Police Transport Command

Police are appealing for public assistance as they are investigating an alleged assault on a train in Sydney’s west.
On Tuesday (18 February 2025), officers attached to Police Transport Command have commenced an investigation into an alleged assault on a train at Rooty Hill Railway Station.
Police were told about 1.20pm on the same day, a 22-year-old woman was struck by an unknown woman before she was verbally abused.
A short time later, the incident was reported to Penrith Police Station before the case was transferred to officers attached to Police Transport Command.
The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance, green hair, last seen wearing a pink shirt and white pants.
