Images released as investigation continues into multiple aggravated break and enters, sexual offences - Merrylands

Detectives investigating a series of aggravated break and enter offences at Merrylands during the early hours of Thursday morning have released further images as investigations are ongoing under Strike Force Beigy.
Between 4am and 6.20am on Thursday (6 March 2025), homes on Elsinore Street, Grace Crescent, Davies Road, and Norma Place, Merrylands were broken into.
Two of the reported incidents were of a sexual nature against elderly women.
At one of the homes the man produced a knife and attempted to sexually assault one woman, at a second home he sexually touched another woman. Both women are aged in their 80’s.
Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene at each location.
The State Crime Command’s Sex Crimes Squad have commenced an investigation with local detectives under Strike Force Beigy.
As inquiries continue, police have released images of a man who might be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being tall and of slender build with dark skin, aged in his 20’s and softly spoken.
The man may have sustained a slight injury that is bleeding. He is depicted in the photos as wearing a yellow shirt, possibly a football jersey.
