Fatal crash - Fairfield West

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Sydney’s southwest.
Shortly after 11pm yesterday (Thursday 13 March 2025), emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a car along Smithfield Road, Fairfield West.
Responding police and NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR on the 27-year-old male rider but he could not be revived and died at the scene.
A crime scene was established.
The driver – a 39-year-old man – was uninjured. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the incident.
