Appeal to locate missing girl - Bowenfels

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from the states Central Tablelands.
Lakeisha Lamelangi-McLeay, aged 14, was last seen at Bowenfels, about 8.30pm on Thursday (13 March 2025).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Lakeisha’s welfare due to her young age.
Lakeisha is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 150cm tall, medium build and dark collar length hair.
She was last seen wearing a pink jumper, blue/black coloured pyjama shorts and brown slides.
Lakeisha is known to frequent the Bowenfels, Lithgow, Mt Druitt, Redfern and Sydney CBD areas.
Anyone with information into Lakeisha’s whereabouts is urged to contact Lithgow Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
