Police have praised attendees during Operation Chryslers on the Murray 2025 in Albury on the weekend.

Operation Chryslers on the Murray 2025 was a high-visibility operation by officers from Murray River Police District, which took place from Friday 14 March 2025 to Sunday 16 March 2025 throughout the Central Business District and Wodonga Place, Albury.

Over the three-day event, more than 10,000 people attended, with no arrests made.

Acting Inspector, Brett Collins, from Murray River Police District, said police were extremely happy with attendees in and around the event.

“NSW Police undertook the high-visibility operation over the three days to help ensure all attendees could enjoy the event safely,” Acting Inspector Collins said.

“While a number of infringement notices were issued, there were no arrests made over the three-day event, which is a great result for both police and people who behaved well, considering the size of the event.”

“The crowd behaviour was exceptional, and this is a great example of attendees having a great time and respecting their fellow patrons while also having a Plan-B to ensure they got home safely,” he said.
