Appeal to locate man missing from Camperdown

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s inner west.

Brian Evans, aged 48, was last seen on Missenden Road, Camperdown, about 12.50pm yesterday (Thursday 20 March 2025).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

There are concerns for Brian's welfare.

Brian is described as being of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with black hair, and unshaven.

He was last seen wearing black pants, black hoodie, blue cap and carrying a black backpack.

Brian is known to frequent the Waverley, Camperdown and Marrickville areas.
