Appeal to locate man missing from Lavington

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from the Murray River Region.

Caine Nichols, aged 39, was last seen on Michelle Avenue, Lavington, about 11pm on Tuesday 18 March 2025.

When he could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Murray River Police District were notified and are continuing inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare.

Caine is described as being of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 185cm tall, of medium build, with long black hair.

He was last seen wearing shorts, and no shirt.

Caine is known to frequent the Lavington and surrounding areas.
