Appeal to locate man missing from Stanmore

Police are seeking help from the public to locate a man missing from the Sydney’s inner west.

Sumin Shrestha, aged 22, was last seen at Stanmore about 12pm on Monday 24 March 2025.

When he couldn’t be contacted or located, he was reported missing to officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command, who have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Sumin’s welfare.

Sumin is described as being of Asian appearance, about 180cm to 185cm tall, with a medium build and black hair.

He is believed to be travelling in a Honda Accord sedan with NSW registration DJ 57 JP.

Sumin is known to frequent the Stanmore area.
