Machetes, knuckle dusters and drugs seized following investigation into vehicle fire - Wagga Wagga

Police have sized multiple machetes, knuckledusters, drugs and vehicle following an investigation into a vehicle fire in the state’s Riverina region today.
About 7.40am (Thursday 27 March 2025), emergency services were called to Hollows Crescent, Lloyd, following reports of a vehicle fire.
Officers attached to Riverina Police District arrived to find a utility well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
Police immediately commenced an investigation into the incident with initial inquires indicating the fire was suspicious.
Following inquires, detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Hollows Crescent, Lloyd, about 10.55am today.
During the search, police located and seized multiple machetes, knuckle dusters, a taser, a trail bike, a Subaru sedan, jewellery, several E-Scooters, and 100 grams of Cannabis.
Following the search, police arrested a 46-year-old man at the home before taking him to Wagga Wagga Police Station.
He was charged by virtue of an outstanding warrant.
The man was refused bail to appear before Wagga Wagga Local Court tomorrow (Friday 28 March 2025).
